Popular sports kits brand Nike has unveiled the home and away jerseys for the Super Eagles of Nigeria.
The home jersey sports a vibrant light green (“Nigeria Green”) base with darker green panels, subtle dotted fade patterns, and armor-inspired side panels that convey strength and readiness. The NFF crest sits centrally on the chest above a white Nike Swoosh.
The away jersey features a clean white base with dynamic bold green flame motifs (inspired by motocross gear) rising from the lower body across the front, back, and sleeves, paired with a dark green shallow V-collar and black-trimmed cuffs for a striking contrast.
Fans online are divided on the design and appeal of the jerseys as it is with the previous releases from Nike.
While some have passed their judgements already, others have theirs reserves until the players don it in a few days time and in subsequent matches.
Nigeria’s Super Eagles could have worn the jerseys at the FIFA World Cup this summer but the three-time African champions didn’t qualify.
