The post, shared by @NG_Eagles on X, celebrates a decade of dedication since his debut for Nigeria on June 13, 2015, in an AFCON qualifier against Chad.
Troost-Ekong’s journey with the Super Eagles has been remarkable. He played a pivotal role in Nigeria’s third-place finish at the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations, scoring a dramatic 89th-minute winner against South Africa.
That tournament saw Ighalo emerge as the top scorer with five goals.
Now, with over 70 caps, Troost-Ekong continues to lead the team, remaining a defensive cornerstone as Nigeria prepares for the 2026 World Cup qualifiers.
