Kano Pillars secured a 2-0 win against Enyimba in a Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) match at the Sani Abacha Stadium on Thursday evening.
Kano Pillars took the lead when Abdullahi Adam found the net in the 26th minute, setting the tone for the home side. Adam doubled the advantage in the 72nd minute, securing his brace and solidifying Kano Pillars’ dominance in the match.
This win takes Kano Pillars to seventh on the NPFL standings with 28 points while Enyimba sits at eight with just a point separating the two sides.
Kano Pillars is Scheduled to face Ikorodu City at home on January 29, 2025 and Enyimba is set to play against Kwara United on January 27, 2025.
Both teams will aim to secure maximum points in their next matches to strengthen their positions in the league.
