Oba Femi delivered a statement performance on the biggest stage, overpowering Brock Lesnar in a one-sided contest on Night 2 of WrestleMania 42.
Making his WrestleMania debut, the Nigerian-born star took control early and never let go. Lesnar’s usual intensity showed in flashes, including an F-5, but it did little to slow Femi, who absorbed the pressure and responded with greater force.
The match ended quickly, with Femi landing a chokeslam before sealing the win with his finishing move, Fall From Grace, for a pinfall in under five minutes.
The bigger moment came after the bell. Lesnar removed his gloves and boots, leaving them in the ring, a gesture long associated with retirement in wrestling. With Paul Heyman watching on, it hinted that the 48-year-old may have stepped into a WWE ring for the final time.
Beating one of WWE’s most dominant figures in such fashion places him firmly in the conversation at the top of the card.
