In Saudi Arabia, Super Eagles star Odion Ighalo scored for Al Wehda in a 3-1 win against Al Raed.

Super Eagles of Nigeria star Odion Ighalo was on target as Al Wehda recorded a 3-1 victory against Al Raed in Saudi Arabia.

Ighalo started the game at the King Abdul Aziz Stadium.

Ighalo scores for Al Wehda

The away side Al Raed struck first through Karim El Berkaoui in the 16th minute.

Al Wehda responded with the equaliser through Saad Bguir in the 24th minute.

The game was level at the break with chances for both teams to start the second half.

In Saudi Arabia, Super Eagles star Odion Ighalo scored for Al Wehda in a 3-1 win against Al Raed.

Ighalo scored to put Al Wehda in front in the 76th minute assisted by Youssef Amyn.

It was a much-needed goal for Ighalo who has been in and out of the starting lineup in recent weeks.

Alexandru Cretu scored the third for Al Wehda in the 90th minute to seal the win.

Ighalo’s return to action when Al Wehda takes on Al Khaleej on Friday, March 14, 2024.
