Dani Alves have agreed to join his former club Barcelona till the end of the season and will resume training with his teammates after the international break. The Brazilian international will not be able to make his debut until January when the transfer window opens.
Barcelona agreed to sign the 38 year old once again after both parties agreed on Friday to bring in the Olympic champion for the rest of the season with the possibility of an extension.
Alves will possibly make his second debut on January 2nd when Barcelona will be playing Real Mallorca. He last played for Barcelona in 2016 before he left for Italian giants Juventus. His wealth of experience would come in handy for a team filled with a lot of youthful and inexperienced players. In his time at Barca, Alves won 23 trophies playing alongside his new coach and former teammate Xavi.
