The joyful announcement was made earlier today, with Okagbare sharing the news on her social media platforms, expressing gratitude and excitement over the newest chapter in her life.

The athlete, celebrated as one of Africa’s most decorated track and field stars, took to X to share the news. “You are everything I prayed for,” she wrote in her post.

Okagbare had a glorious career as a track athlete highlighted by being a 2008 Olympic long jump silver medallist, as well as 2013 world championships long jump silver and 200m bronze medallist.
