Super Eagles of Nigeria defender Ola Aina has earned a nomination for the 2024/25 Premier League Fan Team of the Season, thanks to his standout performances for Nottingham Forest.
The full-back has chipped in with two goals and one assist in 34 league appearances under Nuno Espirito Santo.
Six of his Forest teammates—Anthony Elanga, Morgan Gibbs-White, Nikola Milenkovic, Murillo, Mats Sels, and Chris Wood—also made the nomination list.
The players with the most public votes in each position will secure a spot in the 2024/25 Fans’ Premier League Team of the Season. Fans have until Friday, May 29, to cast their votes.
Meanwhile, Aina’s focus is likely on Nottingham Forest’s push for a UEFA Champions League spot.
The battle for qualification is set to go down to the final day, with Forest hosting Chelsea and needing a win, while hoping Aston Villa drop points, to climb from seventh to fifth and secure a place in the UCL.
