Manchester City and Egypt forward Omar Marmoush has married his longtime partner, Jailan El Gabbas, in a private ceremony held in Egypt.
The 27-year-old striker shared the news with his followers shortly after the intimate ceremony, posting a series of photos on Instagram Stories, including a cheerful car selfie with his new wife as the couple proudly showed off their wedding rings.
The couple first publicly hinted at their relationship in April 2025 before announcing their engagement in December of the same year. Marmoush marked the engagement with the caption, “My 11:11 dream has come true.”
El Gabbas, a marketing and communications professional and University of Sussex graduate, has a background in fashion consulting and is also known by the nicknames Juli and Jolie.
Following their civil ceremony in Egypt, Marmoush continued to share romantic moments from the celebrations, including elegant black-and-white photographs of the newlyweds accompanied by the simple caption, “My wife.”
The couple later extended their celebrations to Italy, where they held a fairytale-style gathering at Lake Como. Marmoush shared more photographs of himself and El Gabbas dressed formally against the picturesque Italian backdrop.
