Onyedika features in Club Brugge’s late win over Sporting Lisbon

Raphael Onyedika was in action on Tuesday night as Club Brugge secured three points over Sporting Lisbon.

Onyedika was on for the entire period of the match as the Belgian side team edged Sporting Lisbon 2-1

The combative midfielder got booked – a yellow card for a challenge on a Sporting Lisbon player in the first half.

However, the midfielder didn’t ran into foul trouble for the rest of the match as he helped his team keep the Portuguese champions at bay.

Casper Nielson gave Club Brugge the winner about six minutes from regulation time to secure the winner for the home side.

The Danish midfielder received a brilliant pass which left him one v one with the goalkeeper as he buried into the bottom left-corner.

The win leagues Raphael Onyedika’s side 14th on the log within the playoffs spot as they look to qualify for the second round of the competition.
