Super Eagles defender Bright Osayi-Samuel believes Victor Osimhen’s Galatasaray will not lift the Turkish League title next season.
The 27-year-old, who joined Birmingham on a free transfer after four years in Turkey, is backing his former boss at Fenerbahce, Jose Mourinho to win the title.

Reflecting on his time working with Mourinho at Fenerbahce, he told Birmingham Live: “For me, he was a great coach. It felt like he was the mandem. Before the game, he would give us so many stories about his family and stuff.
“It’s not just football, he wants to know how you’re doing away from football. He was a good coach for me, and I enjoyed being there with him.”

Despite Fenerbahce finishing second to Victor Osimhen’s Galatasaray last season, Osayi-Samuel remains optimistic about Mourinho’s prospects.
“It’s difficult in Turkey with the pressure of not winning, and I feel like we were unlucky last year. With his [Mourinho’s] experience, in his second year in Turkey, I feel he will now win the league there,” the Nigerian star concluded.
