Victor Osimhen was the standout performer, scoring twice and providing an assist as Galatasaray cruised to their first win of the season.
The Nigerian striker continued his strong start to the campaign with another influential display, contributing directly to three of Galatasaray’s goals.
Rafiu Durosinmi also continued his excellent goalscoring form, scoring for Genk in their entertaining league draw against Royal Antwerp.

In England, Semi Ajayi was on target as Hull City defeated Manchester United in their Premier League season opener, while Nathan Tella came off the bench to score his first goal of the season in Bayer Leverkusen’s comfortable cup victory.

Tolu Arokodare also made his mark for Ajax, scoring and providing an assist to help the Dutch side secure an away victory over Sion in the UEFA Conference League qualifiers.
In Türkiye, Kelechi Iheanacho scored for Karagumruk despite their 2-1 defeat to Bursaspor in the Turkish 1. Lig.

Arthur Okonkwo produced an outstanding performance on his Charlton Athletic debut, making eight saves to help his side secure an away victory over West Ham.
Meanwhile, Maduka Okoye was also in fine form for Udinese, making multiple saves as they were held to a draw by Como in their Serie A opener.
Samuel Chukwueze also contributed an assist for AC Milan, setting up the winning goal in their Serie A season opener against Torino.
