Victor Osimhen put up yet again another impressive performance as he bagged his 30th goal of the season to help Galatasaray reach the Turkish Cup final.
Osimhen scored and provided an assist in the comprehensive 5-1 demolition of Konyaspor in front of their home fans.
The Super Eagles striker gave the visitors the lead 26 minutes after kickoff.
Osimhen rose highest in the box to meet Dries Mertens’s sumptuous cross into the box with a thumping header into the back of the net.
Still thirsty for more, Osimhen directed a powerful shot toward the goal, but Konyaspor goalie Deniz Ertas denied him with a save.
Former Arsenal midfielder, Lucas Torreira doubled the lead a few minutes later as he pounced on a rebound from the edge of the box.
Galatasaray continued their scoring spree in the second half as Osimhen found Roland Sallai with a pass. His shot took a deflection before crossing the goal line to increase the lead.
Brazilian forward Pedrinho pulled one back for Konyaspor with a brilliant finish in the 53rd minute.
Roland Sallai and substitute Yusuf Demir further increased the misery of the home side with a goal each as the match ended 5-1.
Galatasaray will take on the winner between Trabzonspor and GoZtepe in the final of the Turkish Cup.
