Super Eagles head coach Eric Chelle has named separate squads for the upcoming 2025 Unity Cup clash against rivals Ghana and an international friendly against Russia.
Notably, Galatasaray’s Victor Osimhen and Atalanta’s Ademola Lookman have been left out of both line-ups for the friendly matches.
Nigeria will face Ghana in one of their two Unity Cup matches, set for May 27-31, before taking on Russia in a friendly on June 6.
Osimhen and Lookman will miss all three games, as they were not included in either squad.
Reports suggest the duo have been given a break following a demanding season, with the 26-year-old clinching the Turkish Super Lig title with Galatasaray and Lookman helping Atalanta secure a Champions League spot.
Meanwhile, Udinese goalkeeper Maduka Okoye makes a return after missing the World Cup qualifiers against Rwanda and Zimbabwe.
