Galatasaray vice president Abdullah Kavukcu has disclosed that Victor Osimhen turned down substantial financial offers from other clubs to secure his permanent €75m transfer from Napoli.
Speaking at a press conference on Friday, Kavukcu highlighted Osimhen’s commitment to the Turkish club.

“The amount Victor gave up to come here is truly enormous. He gave up a sum no other player would ever give up, and we are happy to have him,” Kavukcu told Turkish media.
He expressed pride in the club’s ability to sign Osimhen without jeopardizing financial stability, stating,
“We have never compromised our position, and we have shown our strength. Thank God, we have signed Victor without creating debt for the future.

“This is an incredible source of pride for us all. On the contrary, we have registered Victor’s contract as capital in Galatasaray’s coffers.”
Despite interest from Juventus and mega-money offers from Saudi Arabia’s Al-Hilal, Osimhen chose to stay in Istanbul, marking a significant achievement for Galatasaray and Turkish football.
