Galatasaray came from behind to secure a 3–1 victory over Göztepe in Sunday’s Turkish Süper Lig clash at Rams Park, with Victor Osimhen once again among the goals.
The visitors stunned the home crowd early on when Efkan Bekiroğlu fired Göztepe ahead in the 6th minute. However, Galatasaray quickly found their rhythm and drew level through Osimhen’s well-taken finish in the 19th minute.
Göztepe’s evening unraveled shortly before half-time as defender Malcolm Bokélé was sent off for a second bookable offence, leaving the newly promoted side with ten men for the remainder of the match.
The numerical advantage proved decisive after the restart. Brazilian midfielder Gabriel Sara put Galatasaray in front in the 63rd minute with a composed strike from the edge of the box, before captain Mauro Icardi sealed the win three minutes later, tapping in from close range after fine work by Hakim Ziyech.
The victory extends Galatasaray’s unbeaten start to the league season and keeps them firmly in the title race alongside city rivals Fenerbahçe.
