Alexis Mac Allister has been named the Premier League Player of the Month for April 2025, earning the award for the first time.
The Liverpool midfielder scored twice and provided one assist in five matches, which was key in securing the club’s second Premier League title.
Mac Allister is the first Argentinian to win the award since Sergio Aguero in January 2020 with Manchester City, becoming only the fourth Argentinian to claim the honor.

He follows teammate Mohamed Salah, who won the award in November 2024 and February 2025, as the second Liverpool player recognized this season.
Elsewhere, Brighton’s Carlos Baleba claimed the Goal of the Month award for his stunning long-range strike against West Ham. The in-form midfielder is finally earning well-deserved recognition for his performances this season.
Finally, Wolves boss Vítor Pereira scooped the award for Barclays Manager of the Month for April 2025, his first since arriving in England.
He becomes the fourth Portuguese manager to win the monthly accolade this season, joining Nottingham Forest’s Nuno Espírito Santo, who won in October, December, and March.
Wolves enjoyed a flawless April, starting and ending with clean sheets in 1-0 and 3-0 victories over West Ham United and Leicester City, respectively.

They also defeated Ipswich Town, Tottenham Hotspur, and Manchester United, making Wolves the only Premier League team with a 100% winning record for the month.
