Premier League Roundup: Aina’s Forest stun Guardiola’s City, Salah pushes Liverpool closer to title

The Premier League returned for round 29, and it was a day full of big performances and big goals.

The lunchtime kickoff saw the soon-to-be-dethroned champions Manchester City travel to City Ground to take on Nottingham Forest. Guardiola’s men huffed and puffed, but a late Callum Hudson-Odoi goal settled proceedings.

Forest’s win gives them a small but significant cushion in 3rd place while City continue to fight to finish in the top four.

Elsewhere, Mohamed Salah scored two penalties to lead a comeback win for Liverpool, who defeated Southampton 3-1 at Anfield.

The Reds had to do it the hard way, coming back from a goal down but ultimately, they found the goals and got the win. They are now 16 points above Arsenal, who take on Manchester United at Old Trafford on Sunday evening in a Premier League classic.
