In a thrilling night of Premier League action, both Crystal Palace and Manchester City emerged victorious in their respective fixtures, each with significant implications for their season objectives.

Crystal Palace 3–1 Wolverhampton Wanderers: Nketiah’s Brace Propels Eagles

Fresh off their historic FA Cup triumph, Crystal Palace continued their impressive form with a 3–1 home victory over Wolverhampton Wanderers.

Eddie Nketiah was the standout performer, netting twice to lead the Eagles to their third consecutive league win.

Nketiah opened the scoring in the 12th minute, capitalizing on a defensive lapse. Wolves responded through Matheus Cunha, who leveled the match just before halftime.

However, Nketiah restored Palace’s lead shortly after the break, and Eberechi Eze sealed the victory with a well-placed finish in the 78th minute.

This win solidifies Palace’s position in the top half of the table, capping off a remarkable season that includes their first-ever major trophy.

Manchester City 3–1 Bournemouth: De Bruyne’s Farewell Marked with Victory

At the Etihad Stadium, Manchester City secured a 3–1 win over Bournemouth, a result that keeps their Champions League qualification hopes alive.

The match was particularly poignant as it marked Kevin De Bruyne’s final home appearance for the club.

City took the lead through Omar Marmoush in the 22nd minute, with Bernardo Silva doubling the advantage before halftime. Nico González added a third in the 65th minute, effectively putting the game beyond Bournemouth’s reach.

The visitors managed a consolation goal late on, but the result was never in doubt.

De Bruyne, who has been instrumental in City’s success over the past decade, received a standing ovation as he was substituted in the closing minutes. His departure marks the end of an era for the club.

With this victory, Manchester City move up to third place, setting the stage for a decisive final match against Fulham to secure their spot in next season’s Champions League.
