Paris Saint-Germain unleashed venom on St Etienne as they continue to tighten their grip on top of the Ligue 1 table with about nine matches to the end of the season.

The defending champions came from a goal down to take the home side apart in a comprehensive victory on Saturday evening.

PSG men struggled in the early stage of the match as they conceded in the ninth minute courtesy of Belgian striker Lucas Stassin who rose highest to plant a header into the back of the net.

After a period of sustained pressure, Goncalo Ramos equalized for the visitors with a perfect strike from the penalty spot just before halftime.
