RECORD BREAKER: DJOKOVIC WINS HIS SEVENTH ATP FINALS TITLE

Novak Djokovic defeated home favoy Jannik Sinner in Torino Italy in two straight sets (6:3, 6:3) to claim his seventh ATP finals trophy of the season.

The world number one Djokovic got his revenge after the Italian defeated him in their first meeting in the same competition few days ago in three sets.

Djokovic has now won the most titles in ATP finals history (seven) one ahead of Roger Federer who had six.

The 36 year old won virtually all the major titles this season aside Wimbledon which he lost to world number two Carlos Alcaraz. He won the Australian Open, Roland Garros (french Open)  the US Open, along with 4 other ATPs.

Also, the 24 Grand Slam winner has stayed the longest as world number one, this is his 400th week at the top of the ATP ranking.

Next for Djokovic is the Davis Cup which starts later in the month and it looks like he’ll be taking his country Serbia all the way to the title with his current form.
