A Paul Onuachu goal is fast-becoming one of the very few constants in life as the Nigerian striker found the back of the net once again.
Paul Onuachu has been in a sublime run of form since he returned from the Africa Cup of Nations in February and has scored in every match he has played in.
The 31-year-old striker scored his 10th consecutive goal on Saturday night as he powered Trabzonspor to victory over Rizespor in the Turkish Super Lig.
Onuachu scored the only goal of the tie just a few minutes after the break as he tapped the ball into an empty net from Oleksandr Zubkov’s lay-up.
The goal marks his 20th in the league as he continues to draw closer to clinching the Golden Boot prize.
Paul Onuachu has now scored in eight consecutive league matches and ten in all competitions.
Meanwhile, the win keeps Trabzonspor’s chase of securing Champions League football next season on as they are currently in third spot but equal on points -57 with Fenerbahce.
Meanwhile, Paul Onuachu paid tribute to Orhan Kaynak, Trabzonspor’s assistant coach who passed away aged 56 after suffering a heart attack following a meal at the club’s facility.
Onuachu raised a Trabzonspor jersey with the number 11 on it in tribute to Orhan Kaynak.
