Rinsola Babajide and Gift Monday found the back of the net in Costa Adeje Tenerife’s win at Sevilla in a La Liga Feminine fixture on Sunday.
Babajide gave her team the lead nine minutes into the match as she recorded her sixth goal of the campaign.
The match was keenly contested as the home side pressed for an equalizer on a couple of occasions.
Sevilla ended the first half down by goal but had five shots on target while the visitors had just two – one of which Babajide converted.
Costa Adeje Tenerife doubled their lead less than ten minutes into the second half.
Rinsola Babajide raced down the left channel and lofted a brilliant cross towards Gift Monday who planted a header into the roof of the net.
The goal put the game beyond the reach of the host as the visitors bagged maximum points.
Gift Monday continued an impressive run in the league as she recorded her ninth goal in 15 matches.
The host created chances but failed to score as they had nine shots on target while the visitors had four and converted two.
