Ronaldo vs Messi: Paul Pogba settles GOAT debate with simple response

Juventus midfielder Paul Pogba has revealed his pick in the never-ending GOAT debate involving Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi.

In a recent livestream with popular YouTuber and influencer iShowSpeed, Pogba was asked which of the two legendary figures was the better player.

Pogba picks Messi over Ronaldo

“Who do I prefer? If I have to make a team, if I have to score goals, Cristiano. Only to score goals. But if I need a player, a playmaker, who can score goals and make assists, I take Messi every day.”

Meanwhile, in another video, he told Speed that he understands why he loves the Al Nassr captain, but Messi was more impressive. “You love Cristiano. I love the style and everything. And some people love Messi because… Bro, do you see what he’s doing? Seriously, Messi is different,” he told the influencer.

Paul Pogba played alongside Cristiano Ronaldo for a season at Manchester United in 2021. However, the French midfielder left the Red Devils in 2022 to join Juventus.

His time on the pitch was cut short; Pogba hasn’t played since September 2022. This followed a guilty verdict by the Italian Anti-Doping National Tribunal, resulting in an initial four-year ban.

Fortunately for Pogba, his suspension has been reduced to 18 months, paving the way for his return in 2025.
