Manchester United manager Ruben Amorim has reacted to Marcus Rashford’s newfound form at Aston Villa.
Amorim told the media on Monday he’s happy with Manchester United loanees doing well at their respective club sides at the moment.
On Rashford, Amorim says the Manchester United academy graduate is not his player at the moment but happy for him.
“am focused on my team and my players. Rashford is not my player at the moment”.
“But of course, I am happy when our players are playing well on loan.”
Since joining Aston Villa on loan in January, Rashford seems to have gradually found his way back to form.
The 27-year-old forward scored a brace as Aston Villa thrashed Preston North End 3-0 on Sunday to qualify for the FA Cup semi-finals.
Marcus Rashford has two goals and four assists for Aston Villa and remains an integral part of Unai Emery’s side.
The future of the England international remains uncertain even though he has made it clear he desires a new challenge.
Rashford returned to the national team in the last international break after missing out on Euro 2024.
He featured in England’s 2026 World Cup qualifiers against Albania and Latvia and was impressive in both matches as Thomas Tuchel started his reign as manager with consecutive victories.
