In a thrilling conclusion to the NCAA Men’s Basketball Tournament, the Florida Gators emerged victorious over the Houston Cougars with a narrow 65-63 win at the Alamodome in San Antonio, Texas.
This victory marks Florida’s third national title and their first since 2007.
The Gators faced a significant challenge, trailing by 12 points early in the second half. However, a remarkable comeback was ignited by guard Walter Clayton Jr., who, after a scoreless first half, contributed 11 crucial points in the latter period.
