The Russian Football Federation has announced a 31-man squad ahead of the friendly matches against the Super Eagles of Nigeria and Belarus next month.
Coach Valery Karpin named four goalkeepers, eleven defenders, thirteen midfielders, and three forwards in his squad to face the Super Eagles.

Goalkeepers: Matvey Safonov (Paris Saint-Germain, Paris), Andrey Lunev (Dynamo Moscow), Anton Mitryushkin (Lokomotiv Moscow), Stanislav Agkatsev (Krasnodar).
Defenders: Yuri Gorshkov (Zenit Saint Petersburg), Ilya Vakhaniya, Viktor Melokhin, Maxim Osipenko (all from Rostov, Rostov-on-Don), Danil Krugovoy, Dzhamalutdin Abdulkadyrov (both from CSKA Moscow), Alexander Silyanov (Lokomotiv, Moscow), Valentin Paltsev (Dynamo Makhachkala), Ilya Rozhkov (Rubin Kazan), Arsen Adamov, Turpal-Ali Ibishev (both from Akhmat Grozny).
Midfielders: Danil Glebov, Yaroslav Gladyshev (both Dynamo Moscow), Ivan Oblyakov, Matvey Kislyak (both CSKA Moscow), Maxim Glushenkov, Andrey Mostovoy (both from Zenit St. Petersburg), Lechi Sadulaev (Akhmat Grozny), Anton Miranchuk (Sion), Kirill Shchetinin (Rostov, Rostov-on-Don), Dmitry Barinov, Alexey Batrakov, Sergey Pinyaev (all Lokomotiv Moscow), Danil Prutsev (Spartak Moscow).
Forwards: Dmitry Vorobyov (Lokomotiv Moscow), Ivan Sergeev (Krylya Sovetov, Samara), Nikolay Komlichenko (Rostov, Rostov-on-Don).
The meeting between the two nations will be the first at the senior level. Russia will host the three-time African Champions at the magnificient Luzhniki Stadium – venue of the 2018 World Cup final on June 6th. Kick-off is set at 8 p.m. local time but 6 p.m. Nigerian time.
