Mohammed Salah and seven other players have been nominated for the December Premier League Player of the Month Award.
The December edition will be keenly contested as the list contains a handful of players who were fantastic for the clubs in the last month of 2024.
The other nominees are Cole Palmer (Chelsea), Morgan Gibbs-White (Nottingham Forest), Trent Alexander-Arnold (Liverpool), and Dean Huijsen (Bournemouth).
Also, Newcastle’s duo Alexander Isak,Jacob Murphy and Fulham’s left-back Antonee Robinson also made the list.
Mohammed Salah is the overwhelming favorite to retain the award he won last month.
The Liverpool forward scored seven goals and provided seven assists in December.
Newcastle’s Alexander Isak is also a strong contender. The striker bagged 7 goals and 2 assists for the Toon Army as the ended the year with a 2-0 over Manchester United at Old Trafford.
Chelsea midfielder Cole Palmer is also in the running with 5 goals and an assist for the Blues in December.
Morgan Gibbs-White had five goal contributions as Nottingham Forest extended their winning run in the league to five matches.
The award is expected to be presented to one of the players in the days ahead.
