The second half saw Al Fateh capitalize on defensive lapses from Al Okhdood. In the 49th minute, Sofiane Bendebka converted a penalty, restoring Al Fateh’s lead. The situation worsened for Al Okhdood when, in the 82nd minute, Mourad Batna secured another goal from the spot, sealing the victory for the visitors.
Nigerian forward, Saviour Godwin was introduced in the 65th minute, substituting for Christian Bassogog. Despite his fresh presence on the field, Godwin found it challenging to penetrate Al Fateh’s organized defense.
