Manchester City are now two points behind league leaders Arsenal after securing a win over Leeds United at Elland Road on Saturday evening.

Ghanaian winger, Antoine Semenyo scored the only goal of the tie just before the break to seal the win over Daniel Farke’s men.

Semenyo was in the right spot in the box as he tapped in a square pass from Rayan Ait-Nouri into the back of the net to register his fourth goal in the league since he joined Manchester City in January.

The win extended Manchester City’s winning streak to six matches as they pile pressure on Arsenal in the title race.

Meanwhile, the 4.00 pm kick witnessed a lot of goals across three match centres with Liverpool and Brentford claiming big wins.

Liverpool were ruthless in front of their home fans as they pounced on relegation-threatened Westham United.

Hugo Ekitike, Virgil van Dijk, and Coady Gakpo got on the score sheet as the Reds breezed past Westham United 5-2 at Anfield.

The Reds raced to a 3-0 lead at halftime and wrapped up the tie in the second in one of their most commanding performances of the season.

Turf Moor witnessed seven goals as Brentford sealed a 4-3 win over Burnley. The Clarets came from a three-goal deficit to tie the game in the second half.

However, the hosts were denied twice by the video assistant referee in the second half with two goals ruled out as the Bees left with maximum points after a pulsating affair.

Everton bounced back from the defeat to Manchester United on Monday night as the Toffees grabbed a 3-2 win over Newcastle United at the Saint James’s Park.
