Juventus and Napoli continued their perfect starts to the Serie A season, while Cagliari recorded a convincing home win in Saturday’s fixtures.
In Turin, Juventus edged Inter Milan 4-3 in a pulsating Derby d’Italia. The game swung back and forth as Hakan Çalhanoğlu twice cancelled out Juve leads before Marcus Thuram put Inter in front after the break.
But Kephren Thuram equalised for the hosts, and in stoppage time 18-year-old Vasilije Adzić produced a stunning strike to seal victory.

The result leaves Juventus top of the table with three wins from three, while Inter are left reeling from back-to-back defeats.
In Florence, Napoli underlined their title credentials with a 3-1 victory over Fiorentina. Kevin De Bruyne opened the scoring from the spot before Rasmus Højlund, on loan from Manchester United, marked his debut with a composed finish.

Sam Beukema added a third early in the second half, effectively ending the contest, though Luca Ranieri’s late header restored some pride for Fiorentina.
The champions remain winless after three games, while Napoli kept pace with Juventus at the summit.
Elsewhere, Cagliari proved too efficient for newly promoted Parma, winning 2-0 in Sardinia. Yerry Mina broke the deadlock in the first half after a corner was poorly dealt with, and Mattia Felici struck late to seal the points. Parma created opportunities but lacked a cutting edge, while Cagliari made the most of theirs to climb the table.
With Juventus and Napoli setting the early pace, the pressure is already mounting on Inter and Fiorentina to respond in the coming weeks.
