Serie A saw major shifts at the top of the table on Sunday, with Napoli and Roma both securing crucial comeback victories to climb into a joint lead.

Napoli rallied to beat Genoa 2-1 after falling behind in the first half. Midfielder Frank Anguissa scored the equaliser before Manchester United loanee Rasmus Højlund secured the crucial three points, pouncing on a rebound in the 75th minute to cap his impressive run of form.

In the day’s main event, Juventus and AC Milan played out a tense 0-0 draw, preventing Milan from joining the title race leaders ahead of the international break.

Elsewhere, Bologna delivered the most emphatic result of the day, crushing Pisa 4-0. The match was notable for the Serie A debut of Louis Buffon, son of legend Gianluigi Buffon, for the losing side. The day was rounded off by a 1-1 draw between Udinese and Cagliari.
