The Serie A continues to deliver thrills and this weekend was no different.

After Saturday’s drama, Sunday offered even more excitement, with Napoli stumbling to Como in the weekend’s shock result.

Amir Rrahmani scored an own-goal seven minutes in to give Como the lead before Giacomo Raspadori equalized for Napoli 10 minutes later.

However, 19-year-old Spanish winger Assane Diao won it for Como after being set up by Nico Paz late in the second half.

Elsewhere, Atalanta bounced back from their UEFA Champions League exit with a 5-0 win over Empoli. Ademola Lookman, much maligned after his penalty miss in midweek, scored a brace to help his side to a fine win.

Mateo Retegui and Davide Zappacosta also scored for Atalanta as they stay in third place, close to Napoli and Inter in the fight for the title.

Finally, Juventus consolidated their top-four spot thanks to a narrow 1-0 victory over Cagliari at the Unipol Domus.

Dusan Vlahovic returned to the starting lineup after being benched over the past few weeks and he delivered the crucial strike to win the game for Thiago Motta’s men.

SUNDAY’S SERIE A RESULTS

Cagliari 0-1 Juventus

Empoli 0-5 Atalanta

Como 2-1 Napoli

Verona 1-0 Fiorentina
