Inter Milan climbed to the top of the Serie A standings with a 1-0 victory over Genoa at the San Siro. The decisive moment came 12 minutes before the end when Lautaro Martínez scored with a header from a Hakan Çalhanoğlu corner.
The first half saw limited chances, but Inter increased the pressure in the second half to secure the win. This result places Inter one point ahead of Napoli, who are set to play against Como on Sunday.
