Super Eagles Goalkeeper, Stanley Nwabali has noted that he is currently open to joining any club, both locally and internationally.
Recall that the 29-year-old player mutually terminated his contract with South African club side Chippa United in February and has since then not joined any club at all.
The former Enyimba goalkeeper and NPFL winning team has also received suitors from far and wide, Queens Park Rangers in the Championship, South African Kazier Chiefs, Moroccan Raja Club Athletic and even Saudi Al Ettifaq.
But in a chat with Sports Night, the Nigerian goalkeeper noted that he can play anywhere he wants to play, and that he is open to joining any club of his choice.
“I can play anywhere I want to play; there is no restriction,” Nwabali said
“I am open to any club, local or international. Football deals with happiness, and my happiness comes first.
“There are no calls yet. The only calls are from my family and friends and people who are shocked at the news.
“Nothing changed. In football, you wait for the right moment. You really need to enjoy where you are.”
The Nigerian goalkeeper was part of the Super Eagles squad that won the bronze medal at the just concluded AFCON 2025 in Morocco.
He saved two penalties against Egypt; Mohammed Salah and Omar Marmoush to ensure Nigerian seals a medal in the tournament.
