Former Super Eagles striker Brown Ideye has announced his departure from former Nigeria Premier Football League champions, Enyimba.
Ideye shared his farewell message on his X page as he thanked the management, players and fans of the club.

To the Chairman, Staff, my Team Mates and Fans of @EnyimbaFC thank you for the wonderful journey. It’s been an honour to wear the jersey and play for one of the biggest and best football club in Nigeria and Africa. As i move on, i’m Grateful for the fond memories we created together on and off the pitch, and I appreciate the love, respect and support you all gave me from day one. Brown Ideye joined Enyimba during the 2024/2025 season and scored five goals in 10 matches for the Aba Elephants.
Enyimba is Ideye’s ninth club in his professional career.
The 2013 Africa Cup of Nations winner played for Sochaux, Dynamo Kyiv, Olympiacos, and Tiajin Tiger during the peak of his 15-year career.
