Days after getting his maiden call-up to the Super Eagles of Nigeria, 26-year-old winger, Phillip Otele scored his debut goal for Hamburger SV.

Phillip Otele put the hosts ahead in the 19th minute with a shot after receiving a pass from William Mikelbrencis.

The goal marked his first for the club after joining on loan from Basel during the winter transfer window.

Otele finished the chance with brilliant composure – a testament to his prowess in front of goal being a wide forward.

Unfortunately, despite leading 2-0 till the half-hour mark, Borussia Dortmund sealed a dramatic comeback with a 3-2 win.
