The Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) has confirmed that the Super Eagles will play two high-profile international friendlies in the United States this November against South American sides Venezuela and Colombia.
The first match is scheduled for Friday, 14 November 2025, when Nigeria will take on Venezuela at the Shell Stadium in Houston, Texas, with kick-off set for 8:00 pm local time.
Four days later, the team will move to New York, where they face Colombia on Tuesday, 18 November 2025, at Citi Field in Queens. That encounter will also start at 8:00 pm Eastern Time, which will be 1:00 am Wednesday in Nigeria.
The games, arranged within the FIFA international window, are designed to provide the Super Eagles with quality opposition ahead of upcoming competitive fixtures.
These matches will mark Nigeria’s return to the U.S. after their 2022 tour, where they suffered narrow defeats to Mexico and Ecuador. This time, the NFF hopes the friendlies will give the coaching staff valuable opportunities to assess the squad against top-level South American opposition.
