Super Eagles midfielder Wilfred Ndidi is on the verge of completing a move from Leicester City to Besiktas in the Turkish Super League.
Reports suggest that the 28-year-old defensive midfielder has agreed on personal terms and a three-year deal with Besiktas.
Leicester City are set to receive a sum of €9.5 million after reaching a mutual agreement with the Super Eagles midfielder.
Wilfred Ndidi’s medical examination is booked for Thursday, August 7, and he will sign a contract until 2028 as a new Besiktas player.
Ndidi will leave Leicester City after nine years at the club. The Super Eagles midfielder joined the Foxes from Genk in the 2016/2017 season.
The midfielder helped Leicester City win the FA Cup and the FA Community Shield in 2021. He was also pivotal to the club’s return to the Premier League in the 2024/2025 season after winning the English Championship.
Wilfred Ndidi is set to join former Manchester United coach Ole Gunnar Solskjaer at Besiktas as he takes up a new challenge in his career.
