Super Falcons announce 23-player squad for double-header friendlies against Cameroon

Head coach, Justin Madugu has released a 23-player list for the upcoming international friendly double-header between Nigeria’s Super Falcons and the Indomitable Lionesses of Cameroon.

The squad features a strong contingent of regulars, including team captain Rasheedat Ajibade, first-choice goalkeeper Chiamaka Nnadozie, dependable defender Michelle Alozie, versatile midfielder Toni Payne, and forward Rinsola Babajide.

Also included in the squad are defenders Osinachi Ohale, Oluwatosin Demehin, and Shukurat Oladipo; midfielders Deborah Abiodun and Jennifer Echegini; and forwards Ifeoma Onumonu and Francisca Ordega.

All invited players have been instructed to report to the team’s training camp at the Am2pm Hotel in Ijebu-Ode on Monday, 26 May.

The first match is scheduled to take place at the Remo Stars Stadium in Ikenne on Saturday, 31 May, with the return fixture slated for Tuesday, 3 June at the MKO Abiola Sports Complex in Abeokuta.

These friendlies are part of the Super Falcons’ preparations for upcoming international competitions and offer an opportunity for the technical crew to assess team cohesion and performance.
