Super Falcons have started preparation for the double-header friendly matches against the Indomitable Lionesses of Cameroon.
All but one of the 18 invited players took part in the first training session held yesterday at one of the training pitches of the Remo Stars Sports Club facility in Ikenne.
Captain of the team Raheedat Ajibade, Mitchelle Alozie, Deborah Abiodun, Osinachi Ohale, other foreign pros, and a handful of players from the Nigeria Women’s Football League took part in the session supervised by interim coach Austin Magudu.
Benfica midfielder, the only player missing in action, arrived on Wednesday morning ahead of the second training session later today.

The nine-time African Champions will take on Cameroon in the first phase of the friendly match at the main bowl of the Remo Stars home ground on Saturday, May 31st.
Three days later, the two teams will face off again at the newly renovated Moshood Abiola Stadium in Abeokuta.
The friendly matches are the Super Falcons’ tune-up games in preparation for the 2025 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations in Morocco, scheduled for 5–26 July 2025.
Nigeria are in Group B alongside Algeria, Botswana, and Tunisia as they look to win a record 10th title.
