The Super Falcons of Nigeria and the Indomitable Lionesses of Cameroon finally stepped on the pitch after a two reschedulings.

The newly-renovated MKO Abiola Stadium in Abeokuta hosted the friendly match on a rainy Tuesday evening.

It was a quite cagey affair in the early proceedings as the visitors kept ot tight at the back denying the Falcons space to operate.

However, the Super Falcons bridged past the Cameroonian defense just before the half hour mark.

Captain of the team, Rasheedat Ajibade was brought down in the box which resulted in a penalty.
