Super Falcons of Nigeria captain Rasheedat Ajibade scores for Atletico Madrid in a 4-0 derby win against Madrid CFF.

Rasheedat Ajibade, the captain of the Super Falcons of Nigeria, is back on the scoresheet for Atletico Madrid in a 4-0 victory over Madrid CFF.

Paola Ulloa’s own goal put Atletico Madrid ahead in the 21st minute of the midweek Primera División of la Liga de Fútbol Femenino match.

That was the only goal of the first half; following the interval, Atletico Madrid would score three more.

Vilde Bøe Risa helped Ajibade score Atletico Madrid’s second goal in the 51st minute.

Emily Assis de Carvalho scored an own goal for the third, and Synee Jensen added the fourth to seal a comfortable victory.

After scoring a brace against Valencia, Ajibade played for ninety minutes and has now scored in two straight games.

She had two goals and two assists in September, earning her a nomination for the Spanish Liga F Player of the Month award.

Nerea Nevado of Athletic Club Femenino, María Llompart of Levante Badalona, Caroline Weir of Real Madrid, and Ewa Pajor of Barcelona are the other nominees for the honor.
