Super Falcons potential striker Edna Imade returned to her former ground in style in Saturday evening.
Imade, fromerly in red and white shirt but now in a blue and white bagged a brace as Real Sociedad almost secured maximum points on the road.
The 25-year-old forward restored parity three minutes before the break after Chilean forward Sonya Keefe scored the opener from the penalty spot.
Spanish forward, Nerea Eizaguirre Lasa missed the chance to give Real Sociedad the lead as she missed from the pemalty spot in the 66th minute.
Edna Imade scored three minutes from regulation time to put Real Sociedad ahead moments of sustained pressure.
Unfortunately, Imade’s brace couldn’t secure a win for Real Sociedad as Mario Barquero snatched a late equalizer for the Granada as the match ended 2-2.
Meanwhile, Edna Imade has now scored for goals in five league matches so far for Real Sociedad this season.
