Super Falcons World Cup list released

Coach of the female national team (Super Falcons), Randy Waldrum has announced the squad 23 players that will represent Nigeria at the Women’s World Cup which will be held in Australia and New Zealand starting July 20.

 

The list comprises of notable names like Barcelona striker Asisat Oshoala, Atlético Madrid Rashidat Ajibade, and many others. Usual suspect One Ebi also made the list who would be making a record appearance at the world cup.

The Falcons are in Group B with co-hosts Australia, Canada, and the Republic of Ireland. Nigeria’s first game will be against Canada on July 21.
