The former Montpellier striker scored his first goal at the Ramón Sánchez-Pizjuán as he slotted home from his last two outings in the Spanish top-flight after coming off the bench. m close range after Chidera Ejuke put the ball on a plate for him.

Akor Adams had previously played in eight straight games before he netted his first goal in Sevilla colours.

While reflecting on his goal and Sevilla’s famous win over Barcelona, Adams said, “This gives a lot of credit to the team. We’ve been in our own bubble, doing what we’ve worked on, and all that effort has paid off.
