Tottenham Hotspur got their second win in nine Premier League matches courtesy of Archie Gray’s goal in the 42th minute.

The 19-year-old defender scored his first goal for the club on the night and it proved to be vital as the win eased pressure on Thomas Frank.

Tottenham came into the match on the back of a poor record with a win in eight minutes while Crystal Palace were chasing their first win four matches across all competition.

Richarlison thought he had given his side the lead after 17 minutes but his goal couldn’t pass the scrutiny of the VAR as it was ruled for offside.

Three minutes before the break, Archie Gray’s header found the back of the net off Richarlison’s headed pass into the six-yard box.

It was a quite a frustrating night for Richarlison as the Brazilian scored again but once again, his goal was ruled for offside by the VAR.
