After Bayer Leverkusen’s Bundesliga victory over Eintracht Frankfurt on Saturday night, Super Eagles of Nigeria striker Victor Boniface says he survived a horrifying car accident.
The 23-year-old shared videos to Snapchat of his hand covered in blood and his car smashing in the front.
The footballer was also seen in the photos lying in a hospital bed after the situation.
On Saturday evening at the BayArena Stadium, Bayer Leverkusen overcame a goal behind to defeat Frankfurt 2-1, with Boniface scoring the game’s winning goal.
Along with photos was a message on Instagram that said, “Na so una for just hear say my enemy don die. God is the greatest.”
Although neither the player’s club nor German police have released any information regarding the accident, Boniface appears to be in stable condition based on his social media posts.
