Former Super Eagles star and Chelsea legend Victor Moses will headline a special fan engagement event as part of the visit.
The trip is the fifth stop on Chelsea’s global fan programme, The Famous CFC, which is designed to bring the club closer to supporters worldwide during the 2025/26 season.
The city of Lagos is expected to deliver one of the biggest highlights of the tour.
Chelsea announced the event according to a press release on its website on Wednesday.
Chelsea Football Club will be visiting Lagos, Nigeria, for the first time in the club’s history this May when our fan engagement programme The Famous CFC hosts its penultimate event of the 2025/26 season. Former Blue and Super Eagles ace Victor Moses will meet the club’s passionate fans across the event in the vibrant Nigerian city.
The Famous CFC in Lagos will bring a packed weekend of action to the city, where fans will be welcomed to the ever-popular watch party along with exclusive activities including a Q&A with Moses. There will also be the chance to win signed merchandise.
Moses, a huge fan favourite during his time at Stamford Bridge, will meet and interact directly with Nigerian supporters, adding an extra special touch to this landmark occasion.

The Nigeria-born winger joined Chelsea from Wigan Athletic in 2012 and went on to make 128 appearances, scoring 18 goals and providing 10 assists.
He played a starring role in the 2016/17 Premier League title-winning season under Antonio Conte and also lifted the FA Cup and UEFA Europa League with the Blues.
Victor Moses was a key member of Nigeria’s 2013 Africa Cup of Nations-winning team in South Africa and represented the Super Eagles at the 2014 and 2018 FIFA World Cups before he hung up his boots that summer.
This historic visit is set to send Nigerian Chelsea fans into a frenzy, giving them a rare chance to connect with their club and one of its most beloved African stars.
