Galatasaray and Napoli have finalized an agreement on bank guarantees and payment terms for the transfer of Nigerian striker Victor Osimhen, according to Turkish football pundit Yağız Sabuncuoğlu.
In a post on his X account on Thursday evening, Sabuncuoğlu revealed that Galatasaray will pay €40 million upfront, with the remaining portion of the €75 million transfer fee to be settled in installments.

“Galatasaray and Napoli have reached an agreement on bank guarantees and payment plans,” Sabuncuoğlu wrote on X.
“Of the €75 million transfer fee, €40 million will be paid upfront. The remaining amount will be paid in installments. Galatasaray is very close to signing Victor Osimhen!”
The breakthrough follows Napoli’s rejection of an earlier Galatasaray offer just days ago.
Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano also corroborated the report, indicating that the Nigerian goal-machine is close to a return to Turkey.
Osimhen, who scored an impressive 37 goals across all competitions during a loan spell with the Turkish champions last season, is now on the verge of a permanent move to Istanbul.
The 26-year-old rejected far more lucrative offers to move to Saudi Arabian side Al Hilal, prioritising European and Champions League football over long-term financial security.
